Australia is home to some of the most beautiful natural attractions, beaches and cities in the world. There is always something to do no matter what time of year you visit or the places you go. Read on to learn of some of some of the most popular places to visit in Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef
Located in Queensland, the Great Barrier Reef is synonymous with Australia and is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It’s home to a variety of rare and endangered animal and plant species which make it a spectacular place to visit. You can explore the reef by scuba, snorkel, glass-bottom boat, jet ski or sky dive. One of the popular areas of the Reef among visitors and tourists is the Whitsunday Islands. Some keen travelers like to skydive above the Whitsunday Islands and experience the incredible view from above. Or you can explore the sights on a boat if skydiving isn't your thing.

Uluru / Ayers Rock
Uluru is the world’s largest monolith and is located in the Northern Territory in Australia. It’s best accessed from the town of Alice Springs, where many buses or flights run daily. There are many different things to do and ways to explore the rock. A few companies provide four-wheel drive tours of Uluru. Or you could step it up a notch and take a helicopter tour for a bird’s eye view of the Ayers Rock. Once the day has finished, watch the sun set and colours change over the amazing landscape for a breathtaking experience.
