Built for children of all ages, this incredible playground has 11 engaging play areas to experience and explore.

Navigate through the playground and let your child’s imagination run wild. Check out the twinkle in their eyes as they operate gates and switches in the Water Squirts area. Watch children’s faces light up as they zip through the air on the Flying Fox. Witness their facial expressions as they become dizzy with excitement on the spinning Supernova. Some kids like to pretend that they are Spiderman as they climb the ropes on the Octanet and the Tangled Web. Others fancy themselves as tightrope walkers while trying to keep steady on the Balance Ropes. Actually, there are so many thrilling adventures on the playground, children will want to return. The 360-degree swing and the giant slide, for example, are worth a second trip.

Need a break? Stop by the Shade Zone to relax and eat a picnic lunch. Or just sit back on a playground bench to watch the children play.


Experience

Feel Australian children’s stories come alive at the Lend Lease Darling Theatre. Resident Theatre Company, Monkey Baa creates unique experiences for young audiences with each performance. Then, join the spectacular Luminous Nights, a four-story, interactive digital facade that displays the artwork of its visitors via interactive consoles. During special events, LED Twirlers add a new dimension to the experience. Head to the open art exhibits to watch artists create the next masterpiece. Enjoy a movie screening under the stars with films ranging from science fiction to golden oldies. Many special events take place throughout the year, so no matter when you visit, you will have a pleasant time.


Eat

The diversity of the precinct is reflected in the range of multicultural cuisine offered at Darling Quarter. Listen to Latin music at Braza Churrascaria as you sip on Brazilian liquor. Afterward, make a beeline to the dining room for a spicy Brazilian meal. Enjoy signature Japanese dishes like Frosty Fun Sushi and Sashimi at Umi Sushi & Udo. Other favorites include Vesta, serving robust Italian dishes; The Naked Duck, offering traditional handmade rotisserie from France; and Stacks Taverna & Bar, a Mediterranean restaurant that lets you cook your own delicacies.
